Hi hope you are all enjoying autumn!! I’m loving it this year and have really got into decorating for it.
Its been super fun and one of the best things about it is you can do some of these with children, so if you have children, or nieces and nephews its a great thing to get them involved with, heres what we got up to this year 🙂
1 – Here is my autumn frame I made, this looked perfect in the hallway, all the info on how to do it and where to get your hands on the free autumn print is here, Autumn frame diy!
2 – Autumn leaf Garland.
This is lovely to make with the children, we collected the leaves in the morning and then popped them on some twine, with super cute wooden pegs, it looked lovely and complemented the autumn frame nicely.
3 – Autumn Bowl
This was lovely to make, it is a mixture of pine cones, cinnamon sticks and red berries on a bed of hessian. I soaked the pine cones in pine cone essential oil so it smells AMAZING! You can keep topping up the fragrance over the season.
4 – Autumn candles – These are so sweet, and made the house feel all cosy and nice 🙂 super easy to make, I just collected lots of different shaped leaves and chose the ones I liked. Then I attached them using invisible thread but you could use whatever you like to attach them like hessian or ribbon.
5 – Last but not least, my hydrangeas are drying out and look incredible. The colours are delicious, if you have hydrangeas growing in the garden or nearby its a lovely thing to do.
Happy Autumn everyone 🙂 Hope you get some time to decorate your home for the season, have a great time doing it!
Happy crafting x
