Happy Festive Spoons!

Hi all, hope you are well.

This week I’ve been painting up some wooden spoons!

I feel like I’m getting a little bit festive as the autumn weather starts to come, and so wanted to make something fun that I can make with the children too.

You will need:

  • Emulsion pain – I used Wilko colours, nearly famous (a nice red for Rudolph), delicate chalk for the white and Velvet Mocha for Rudolph and I mixed paints for the ginger bread man.
  • Wooden spoons – mine were from ASDA but you can get them anywhere
  • Posca pens – I used these for the details as I had some in, but I think sharpies or felt tips would work too
  • Bits and bobs to decorate – ribbon, fabric etc..

The beauty of this project is you can make it whatever you like and its fun, cheap and a great way to use any leftover paint and ribbons you have!

Hope we all have a lovely run up to Christmas making little things to bring us joy.

Happy crafting!

Love J x
