I don’t know about you but I’m starting to feel a bit festive! I find December so busy that I can’t make much really, and so making things now means they are ready, and that I can also enjoy them for a good amount of time so this week I made a wreath!
I used some fabric I had from Hobbycraft, a fat quarter pack. I had it left over from last year. I really wanted to used reds, greens and whites with a splash of gold in there, but you could use any colour, maybe all silver, gold, red or white.
I used a polystyrene wreath base and cut the fabric into strips.
It was super lovely to make! You could use all your scrap fabric up or use old clothes to make one of these.
Also – side note, this little Cricut iron is a game changer! Its so handy when you don’t feel like the faff of getting the actual iron out. It was a gift and a very useful one for ironing my fabric!
Cant wait to pop my wreath on the front door, might be a smidge early yet though!
Hope your having fun whatever you’re making!
If it brings you joy then you’re doing it right! Joy over perfection is my motto!
