Ten things we can do to be kind on the go!

Hi all, how’s your week going? Hope you’re having a lovely week…..

We have had a VERY busy week and it got me thinking of kindness and how can we be kind on the go! Because our world needs a whole lot of kindness!

Hope you can join me in my challenge to myself to be kinder even when I’m in a rush and on the go!

Here are some ideas!

  1. Smile, Smile Smile!!! A smile. a good morning, or good afternoon goes a long way!!!

2. Give someone a compliment – this means so much and can lift someone for the day!

3. Thank someone when they do something nice for you it could be a teacher, bus driver or shop worker – or maybe go one further, fill in an online feedback form some shops have, email or write to the manager. You might just make someones day!

4. Praise someone when they do something well, point out how well they do it, encourage them in what they are doing!

7. Send an encouraging text or card to someone or even just a ‘thinking of you today’. You ever know when someone might need encouragement or what is going on in their life that day.

8. Listen – Really listen to someone when they reply to the question ‘how are you?’. It is rare for someone to truly listen and can be a real gift.

9. Ask and try to remember peoples names, remember special days they have coming up or their birthday!!

10. Clean up an area in your home for others to enjoy! Make it look lovely and inviting, this can really bless the people you live with and give them a bit of extra time to go and do something they have been meaning to do. A great gift for someone who has had a long day at work or school/college/university.
